How to Pray

Choose a Scripture passage. 1) Lectio (Read): Read slowly 2-3 times. 2) Meditatio (Meditate): What word or phrase stands out? 3) Oratio (Pray): Speak to God about what struck you, offering it for your intention. 4) Contemplatio (Contemplate): Rest in God's presence in silence. Recommended passages for healing: James 5:13-16, Matthew 11:28-30, Isaiah 41:10.
